New Whiplash reforms come into effect from Monday, here is the guide for making a claim under the RTA small claims portal.
Update from the Ministry of Justice below
We wanted to update you on some recent publications. We have published guidance on the court fees payable, if court proceedings are started under Practice Direction 27B. This guidance can be accessed via Gov.uk.
The Acknowledgment of Service forms (English and Welsh versions) are available via the links below:

In addition, there have been some important changes made to the Pre-Action Protocol for Personal Injury Claims Below the Small Claims Limit in Road Traffic Accidents (‘The RTA Small Claims Protocol’), as a result of the most recent Official Injury Claim build developments and queries raised by third parties. Amendments to the RTA Small Claims Protocol were published on 11 May and can be found here. These amendments have been approved by the Master of the Rolls and the Civil Procedure Rule Committee.
We have also published the 131st Practice Direction Update to the Civil Procedure Rules, which includes the new Standard Directions as an appendix to Practice Direction 27B.
On 6 May 2021 we laid in Parliament the Civil Procedure (Amendment No.3) Rules 2021. This statutory instrument corrects some errant words in rule 6 and some missing cross references in Part 27 of the Civil Procedure Rules.
