Kay Burley to host The BIBA Conference 2026

 The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has announced a new host for The BIBA Conference, broadcaster and journalist, Kay Burley  (photo available here).

Kay was part of the original team that launched Sky News in 1989, becoming the channel’s first female presenter. Throughout her career, she has reported from conflict zones and world capitals, and has interviewed global leaders, royalty, and public figures across politics, business and entertainment.

Emma Chapman, BIBA Conference Director, said: “We’re delighted to have one of the longest serving and influential UK presenters grace our stage at The BIBA Conference next year. With a career spanning over four decades, Kay brings a wealth of experiences both on and off screen and we’re looking forward to hearing her chair insightful debates and discussions with our Keynote Speakers – all of whom will be announced soon.”

The BIBA Conference 2026 – Time:To opens at 8:00am on 13 May and will finish at 4pm on 14 May at Manchester Central. Registered attendees can start networking early at the official launch event on 12 May from 3pm to 7pm.
