What is renovation insurance?
If your client is undertaking a renovation or conversion, they will likely need a specialist insurance policy. Many people in this position aren’t even aware that they need this and rely either on their household policy or that of their contractors, which leaves them without cover in the event of a claim.

With three levels of cover catering for large and small projects, along with a passionate team, we’re confident we can provide cover for your client’s project. - Covers your client’s Existing Structure & New Works
- Flexible cover periods to fit the length of their project, from 3-36 months. Policies are extendable and refundable (subject to no claims)
- Includes Public Liability
- Three cover options including Restricted Perils, Wider Perils, and All Risks
- Residential / commercial properties
- Occupied and unoccupied properties
- Joint Names cover available when required
- Non-Negligent Liability as an optional extra with our Premier Plus policy

Recent policy improvements
To adapt with the changing market, we have recently made some exciting improvements to our product including:
- Total sum insured limit now £7.5m
- Increased hired in plant cover available up to £100,000
- Increased own plant/tools cover available up to £50,000
How to trade with us online
- Request a TOBA
Before you can trade online with us you need to have a TOBA in place. You can apply for one by filling out an online form and a member of our team will be in touch.
- Create your user profiles
Every individual in your business who will be using the portal will require their own individual login to trade with us. Once your TOBA has been confirmed we’ll be in touch for a list of users who will then receive their individual logins along with some useful guides.
- Start trading online
Once your team have their profiles set up you can start to use our portal which enables you to provide a quote to your clients with flexibility and speed. If you require any further support our team are happy to help and you can find our contact details on this page or by clicking here.
We have no minimum level of support, so once you have a TOBA in place please feel free to send us any enquires you may have, even if it is a one-off. We are proud of the relationships we have built with our brokers and we look forward to providing you and your clients with the ideal policy for their renovation or conversion project.
