Following the recent announcements that the Danish firm GEFION has had its licence removed to act as an insurance company by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, Ratcliffe Underwriting, the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) Transportation Scheme provider, is gearing up to meet the needs of brokers and customers affected by this move.
Ratcliffes have been successfully trading for nearly 45 years and specialise in arranging insurance cover for haulage owner-operators and fleet operators in the transport industry. They also cover carriers of own goods and multi-drop couriers.
The broker market is a key focus for Ratcliffes which has been working with and supporting brokers operating in this specialist marketplace. The company already works with over 350 brokers.
