This afternoon we announced the Most Promising Newcomer Award in our annual Journalist & Media awards judged by Jonathan Evans, BIBA’s Chair. Journalists entering this category were judged on two articles.
Jonathan said the first article on whiplash correctly identified the factors which led to deferral. Many of the points raised were subsequently repeated by others in the insurance industry.
The second article on credit hire claims drew attention to an unresolved industry scandal giving all actors an opportunity to put their viewpoint.
