The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has renewed its Professional Indemnity (PI) accredited broker contract with Lockton for a further three years.
Lockton is the world’s largest independent insurance broker and has been a BIBA accredited professional indemnity insurance provider for over 25 years.
Paul Afteni, Head of Financial Regulated Professions PII at Lockton, said: “Lockton are proud supporters of BIBA and its members and share a long history of working shoulder to shoulder with BIBA to service their members’ PI needs. As the profession navigates its way through the post-COVID professional indemnity insurance market, Lockton are gratified and excited to extend our partnership with BIBA and are looking forward to continuing to source and provide solutions to its members in the modern PI world.”
Mike Hallam, Head of Technical Services at BIBA added: “BIBA is delighted to renew the PI agreement with Lockton for a further three years. The broker PI market has faced significant challenges in recent times with the Covd-19 pandemic, but, as we move away from that robust and efficient risk management is still to the fore. Lockton’s expertise and experience in this area, which has served members well for many years, will continue to offer members the advice and information they need to secure a suitable placement for their PI insurance”.
BIBA’s accredited providers offer members access to PI cover which meets the specific requirements of insurance brokers, with each provider selected for their proven knowledge of PI insurance and their markets available.
BIBA has an ongoing PI initiative that offers members help with PI related risk and claims management. Information can be accessed by members via an online PI Hub.
You can visit Lockton on stand B40 at The BIBA Conference in Manchester next week.
