High Value Home Insurance scheme to be provided by iprism

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has appointed iprism Underwriting (iprism) to provide its member High Value Home Insurance scheme.

Despite the current economic climate, demand from policyholders for High Net Worth cover that goes beyond standard home and contents policies remains strong. As one of the more comprehensive insurance policies on the market, iprism’s cover addresses the needs of today’s HNW client. This includes high single article limits for jewellery, watches, art and antiques; identity thefts; home emergency and alternative accommodation for up to five years.

BIBA members can access the scheme, tailored exclusively to the needs of owners of high net worth homes and collectors of fine art and other valuables, via a dedicated webpage, or iprism’s easy broker portal.

The scheme is backed by A-rated, UK-domiciled capacity and represents security and stability for discerning clients and their agents.

Mike Hallam, BIBA Head of Technical Services, said: “We are delighted to have brought on board this scheme with iprism. Managing the insurance requirements of high net worth individuals is important for both personal lines and commercial brokers alike. Having the opportunity to access a quality scheme for their customers helps demonstrate the value their services offer.”

Ian Lloyd, CEO of iprism added: “We’ve invested in building a team of highly skilled underwriters, committed to supporting our broker partners and their high net worth clients. Through this new scheme, we’re proud to open up our offering to BIBA’s members, and provide them with the speedy service, quality product, and technical underwriting expertise they deserve.”
