BIBA’s small, busy membership team seeks a flexible, enthusiastic person with strong administration and organisational skills and a passion for customer service and organising events for a fixed-term contract.

Position description

BIBA is the membership organisation for, and the voice of the UK general insurance broker sector. We represent and promote the interests of insurance brokers and their customers. We work with Government and the insurance industry and other stakeholders, to promote the role of brokers and to enhance access to insurance for consumers and businesses.

Key skills/attributes

  • ­ Ability to organise and plan to tight deadlines with appropriate flexibility where necessary
  • ­ Experience with webinar and CRM systems
  • ­ Confidence in chasing and managing responses from various internal and external stakeholders
  • ­ Attention to detail is essential
  • ­ Customer service focus
  • ­ Experience of administering events
  • ­ Competent in Microsoft Office 365
  • ­ Team player

Job summary

This role is within BIBA’s commercial team which is responsible for bringing onboard new members and managing existing members.
In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the membership and commercial department.

Terms & conditions

  • ­ Job type: temporary contract 12 months, 35 hours per week
  • ­ Location: Hybrid at home and in the office in the City of London
  • ­ Salary: Dependent on experience with completion bonus
  • ­ Annual leave of 28 days pa plus bank holidays
  • ­ Notice period: one month
