Could we enlist your support in raising awareness of the service?
Please help us spread the word to your colleagues that they actually still can help any customers that you are unable to insure by sending them to BIBA’s Find Insurance Service on 0370 950 1790 or www.biba.org.uk/find-insurance/

It’s really important that we help customers struggling to access insurance and demonstrate to the likes of Government and the FCA that we all are taking care of customers, especially those in vulnerable circumstances or with non-standard needs. ‘Signposting’ them to the Find Insurance Service is an easy and effective way of doing just that.

Signposting responsibilities
There are a number of industry/Government agreements that mean all insurance providers should already be doing this in relation to travel and motor insurance relating to age; protection insurance for people with medical conditions or disabilities; and for properties affected by flood.

There is also an FCA rule relating to travel insurance for consumers with serious medical conditions.  You can learn more about your signposting responsibilities on our website.

One easy step to help

The Find Insurance Service can help cover all types of commercial and personal lines, including life protection covers and is a key solution to helping customers and improving the industry’s reputation.  We believe that cover is available for most people, they just need to be directed to specialist brokers.
