Young Broker of the Year

The Oliver Rose BIBA Young Broker Award is judged by a range of independent insurance professionals and recognises career progression, sector participation, and professional education and development among BIBA member brokers aged under 35.

Three finalists will be required to attend the BIBA Conference , where the BIBA Young Broker of the Year winner and runners up will be announced. Finalists will also be invited to take part in the Conference’s Young Broker Day , designed to support development, networking, and learning for the next generation of insurance professionals.

The award was renamed in memory of the late Oliver Rose, a former awardee who sadly passed away in March 2023. Oliver was named BIBA Young Broker of the Year in 2016 and made significant contributions to both the insurance sector and his employer.
