The FCA wants to understand how you will identify and support customers who may require additional help during their interactions with your business.
It expects firms to recognise that vulnerability can affect any customer at any stage of their journey and to have appropriate processes in place to respond to those circumstances.
The FCA will want to understand:
- How vulnerability is identified.
- How staff are trained to recognise indicators.
- What additional support is available.
- How customer needs are recorded and managed.
- How vulnerable customers are supported throughout the customer journey.
