21st March 2024

With so many changes and challenges in the industry this year, why not connect with your local peers at one of our Regional Tour presentations or Knowledge Forums? Last year’s events were highly informative, and we’re planning for an even better experience this year.

We’re thrilled to announce that our facility provider, Premium Credit Limited, is once again sponsoring the series. This is a great opportunity to meet with CEO Graeme Trudgill, Regulation Director David Sparkes, and your Regional Manager, along with some special guests, at a venue near you.

Key Details:

  • Cost: FREE of charge
  • CII CPD Points: Qualifies for CPD accreditation
  • Lunch: Provided

The presentation will take place before the Regional Knowledge Forum, where you can meet our schemes and facility providers and hear from a range of industry speakers. These sessions are designed to help you learn, develop, and grow your network, with ample time for discussion and exchange of views.

Non-members: If you’re not a BIBA Member but wish to attend the Knowledge Forum, please contact Anna or Ruth at [email protected]. The fee for non-members is £40.00 + VAT.

Note: Event filming and photography may take place for future publicity and marketing.

Cancellation Policy: A fee of £10.00 may apply for late cancellations or non-attendance to cover catering costs.

Update: FCA Joins BIBA’s 2024 Tour of the Regions

We’re excited to announce that the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) senior team will be attending our 2024 Regional Tour. Starting in the Anglia Region on 4 September, the FCA’s insurance team will be present at various UK-wide events. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the regulator and provide feedback.

I believe it’s essential for the regulator to understand the operations of regional broker businesses, and for brokers to know what’s expected of them. I’m pleased that the FCA team will engage in productive discussions with BIBA members across the UK this autumn.

Matt Brewis, Director of Insurance at the FCA, shares our enthusiasm. He recognizes the critical role insurance brokers play in supporting customers and the UK economy. This will also be a valuable opportunity to discuss regulatory compliance and enhance mutual understanding.

These events have been running for over 10 years, offering members an accessible way to engage with the senior BIBA team. Last year’s addition of guest speakers was highly popular, and we’re delighted to welcome the FCA team and Flood Re this year.
