24th April 2012

The Department for Work and Pensions has launched a new initiative, the Youth Contract, to help young unemployed people to prepare for work and find a job.  The Youth Contract also provides employers with a substantial financial incentive – of £2,275 – to take on a young long-term unemployed person currently participating on the Work Programme.
