Brokers to discuss future for Scotland at BIBA event

15th September 2014

BIBA has announced two keynote presentations focusing on the future for Scotland post-referendum at the BIBA Scotland event to be held on 6th November.

Glenn Campbell, host of the second live TV debate between Alex Salmond and Alistair Darling, will share his insights into the ramifications for the financial services sector and the wider economy while a debate session including two brokers and two insurers will invite the audience to discuss ‘What now for the insurance sector?’

Whatever the result, the day will give Scottish brokers the chance to reflect, review and plan for the future, post referendum and do business with more than 30 insurers and other service providers exhibiting at the day.

BIBA Chief Executive, Steve White, commented, “At such a pivotal moment for the Scottish insurance sector this will be one of the first opportunities for the industry to come together to discuss the future. In recognition of this BIBA is offering free registration to all BIBA member brokers in Scotland and an early bird discount for non-members booking by 6th October.  Insurers and other providers are very welcome to attend too, either as exhibitors or delegates, to create an environment for full and inclusive debate.  We’re looking forward to a day of real value.”
