BIBA strengthens technical team with new appointment

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has appointed Martin Bridges as its Technical Services Manager with immediate effect.

Martin joins BIBA from Green Insurance and has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Martin will work alongside BIBA’s Head of Technical Services, Mike Hallam, providing technical support to members, BIBA’s technical committees, schemes and will work on the progression of BIBA’s Manifesto objectives.

Martin has also been a member of BIBA’s Motor Panel for nine years.

Steve White, BIBA’s Chief Executive, said: "We are delighted that Martin has agreed to join the BIBA team, he has worked closely with BIBA for a long time so fully understands our role. He brings a wealth of broking experience and knowledge that will be beneficial to our membership.”

Martin said: I’m really pleased to be joining the BIBA team at such an important and exciting time for insurance brokers. I’m looking forward to contributing to the wider broking community and being part of the important work that BIBA conducts on behalf of members.”
