Welcome from the Central Chairman, Ian Langley
I would like personally to welcome you to the website for the Central Region. This site will keep you as a Member up to date with local news and events, and help improve communication between your Regional Committee and the Members. It is your site and I would like you to help us provide you with the events, meetings and services that you are looking for from your Regional team.
Local events and meetings
Your dedicated committee is working hard to provide a number of local events for you and other Members in our region. These events range from local training and conferences to social events and dinners. Full details of the events taking place in your region are listed on this site - click here
You personal involvement, and involvement of your colleagues, in attending events will benefit your firm in terms of competence, teambuilding, career development, industry awareness and profit.
Getting younger colleagues involved in committee
We are always looking for keen new members of our committee to bring fresh ideas to the region so if you would like to get involved or attend the next committee meeting please contact a member of the committee for more information
You can help me by identifying in your firm younger, committed members of staff whose career would benefit from the wider experience of working on our committee.
We are now a vibrant committee of people who believe in the future of the industry and we need more ambitious youth with new ideas and energy.
If you think there is someone in your office who would make a suitable member of the committee then please let me know.
Being heard
I see our committee as an important communications tool for local Members, and our committee should be used as a central tool for Members to raise and tackle local issues – or take them National when appropriate.
To do this I need your help, in raising matters and becoming involved in the debate.
